Unlike our competitors, who ignore the security industry in VR training, TEVR has two distinct training tracks for each scenario, one for police/special police and one for security personnel. Each track unfolds differently from the other, and each track is geared specifically towards either the policing or security profession.

Each scenario is specifically written for both the policing and security industries, with different outcomes and reactions from the digital actors. While there is a significant amount of crossover from the security to the police profession, most security personnel lack arrest authority (unless they are special police, in which case they would use the policing scenario. Therefore, our security scenarios are tailored to situations and training that a security officer may encounter, as opposed to those of a law enforcement officer, including performing rounds, scanning QR codes, dealing with disorderly persons, responding to medical situations, responding to campus alarms, and checking doors.
